Valentine's Recipe

Many couples celebrate Valentine's Day by dressing up and hitting the down to indulge in a romantic dinner and luxurious evening. However, you don't need to eat out to showcase your love! If you're yearning for the comfort of your own home, maybe give this Ravioli Lasagna a try!

Ingredients:

1 Tbsp. olive oil

1 lb. bulk mild or hot Italian sausage

1 (24-oz.) jar marinara sauce

1 cup water

1 (20-oz.) package refrigerated four-cheese ravioli (such as Buitoni)

8 oz. whole milk mozzarella, shredded and divided (about 2 cups)

2 Tbsp. torn fresh basil leaves

Directions: Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Cook sausage for 6 to 7 minutes then add marinara sauce and water. Cook until boiling for 2 to 3 minutes and add ravioli, cooking for 3 to 5 more minutes. Assemble lasagna, then bake for 10 minutes.

Local News

According to the Plano Star Courier, on February 12, the Plano City Council will be reviewing the redevelopment plan for the Willow Bend Mall. The mall, which is located on Park Boulevard and the Dallas North Tollway, will welcome an 18-story hotel, a seven-story office space, apartments, townhomes, and an open space that can be used by the public. The lead planner of the redevelopment shares that they plan to demolish 530,000 square feet of the mall, and three anchor stores, a dining district, parking structures, and two smaller retail buildings will make up the remaining 400,000 square feet.
